Officers are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Gloucester yesterday (Tuesday 26 November).
Police were called to Tuffley Rovers AFC on Tuffley Lane at around 8.50pm last night (Tuesday) with a report that an altercation had broken out between three men who were watching a football match.
It was reported that two men had punched another man causing facial injuries.
Officers attended and two men, aged 43 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Despite the arrests, investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has mobile phone footage.
