Officers investigating an assault in Gloucester city centre on Saturday night are appealing for witnesses.
It has been reported that a man attacked a man and a woman in the area of Priory Road at around 9.30pm on 16 November.
The incident happened opposite Malvern Tyres while the victims had been within the St Oswald's Priory ruins.
A man punched both of the victims in the face and then damaged their tent.
It has also been reported that the same man was damaging cars which were parked on Westgate Street earlier in the evening.
Officers attended and a 22-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.
Both of the victims were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by officers to be checked over. The woman, aged in her 30s, sustained a suspected fractured eye socket.
CCTV enquiries have been taking place and police are now appealing for further information from the public.
It is understood that the suspect had been walking with a second man in the area. They were both described as being white with one of them wearing a grey hooded top and jacket, and the other in a black jumper.
