A man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a shop in Gloucester after he was found with the help of a police dog earlier today, Monday 25 November.
Gloucestershire Constabulary received a report that a person had smashed the window of a shop close to The Dukeries at around 4.15am this morning.
They were spotted running off in the direction of Archdeacon Street.
Officers attended and PD Dara, along with her handler PC Adrian Cole, searched the area. PC Cole then spotted a man who was found with a number of items believed to have been taken from the shop.
A 48-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
