Officers investigating an assault at a Gloucester shop last month have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.
Police were called with a report that a man had assaulted a member of staff at a shop after they attempted to stop him from leaving with suspected stolen items.
This took place on Barton Street at around 10pm on Friday 25 October and the victim sustained swelling, bruising and pain to the face.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident, but are yet to identify the man pictured, and are now asking for information from the public.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has information about what happened is asked to complete the following online form quoting incident 96 of 26 October: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
