The incident happened on Reservoir Road at around 10.15pm on Saturday 26 October.
An off-duty officer had seen a car driving the wrong way around a roundabout and followed it until it stopped on Reservoir Road. As he pulled up behind it, the car, a black Ford Fusion, attempted to reverse into his own vehicle.
When the officer went to speak to the woman, she claimed he had gone into her. She then attempted to drive away.
The officer was able to get her out of the vehicle and call for back up. During her arrest, she became aggressive to officers.
