Police are appealing for information after a man died following a house boat fire in Lechlade Marina today, Friday 15 November.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene at around 6.30am and police were later notified.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services who attended, a man who had been on board the boat died.
Work is ongoing to notify his next of kin and the coroner has been informed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area from around 6am and may have information to come forward.
Police remain at the scene while enquiries take place.
