Police have arrested a man in Stroud following a number of incidents at an event in the town earlier this month.
It was reported that a man had been spitting at members of the public in and around Gloucester Street at about 7.45pm on Saturday 18 May.
Officers have identified some victims, but believe there may be others and are now appealing for them to come forward.
A 35-year-old man from Stroud was arrested on suspicion of common assault. He has been released on police bail and enquiries are continuing.
