A 44-year-old man has died following a collision in Gloucester yesterday morning, Friday 8 March.
Emergency services were called at around 8.25am with a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car on Finlay Road.
A Mini Countryman had driven onto the pavement, colliding with the man, resulting in head injuries.
The pedestrian was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he was treated for serious head injuries but he died yesterday afternoon. The coroner and next of kin have been made aware.
Police closed the road for most of the day to conduct investigations. It was reopened at 4.30pm.
Enquiries are continuing. No arrests have been made.
