Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in the St Paul’s area of Gloucester involving a cyclist and a car yesterday afternoon, Sunday 23 June.
The incident happened on Linden Road with the junction of Seymour Road at around 4.45pm.
A Honda Jazz collided with a male cyclist in his 40s. The car then subsequently collided with a stationary Seat Leon.
The man was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance with serious head, chest and leg injuries.
A 46-year-old woman from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in police custody at this time.
