Officers are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision which took place near Cheltenham yesterday evening (Thursday 6 June).
Police were called to the A436 in Notgrove shortly before 8.25pm with a report that a silver Ford Focus had collided with a wall.
Emergency services attended, however the driver of the car - a man in his 30s - was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst officers conducted an investigation into the collision and reopened at around 6am this morning.
Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information they feel may be relevant.
In particular they would like to speak to anyone who saw the car driving along the A436 from Bourton-on-the-Water towards Andoversford between 7pm and 8pm or who has dashcam/CCTV footage.
