Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sexually assaulted a woman in Cheltenham.
The incident happened around 7pm on Monday 10 June when the 27-year-old victim was on a run near Montpellier Gardens.
As she ran past a man near the number 94 bus stop, he smacked her on her bottom.
The victim stopped and challenged the man, who laughed, apologised and then he got onto the 94X bus to Gloucester.
The man was described as being white, aged under 30 and had short, spiked mousey brown hair. He was wearing a red Adidas zip-up jacket and spoke with an Irish accent.
