Officers from the Stroud Vanguard and Neighbourhood Policing teams have made two arrests this morning (Thursday 25 July) after executing a drugs warrant in Stroud.
Following reports from members of the public about suspicious activity and anti-social behaviour, the warrant was executed at an address in the Mount Pleasant area of the town and a quantity of suspected Class A drugs was found within the property.
A 51-year-old man from Stroud was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and currently remains in police custody.
A 48-year-old woman who was also at the address was arrested as she was wanted on a court warrant.
