Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Gloucester.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to a man who was wearing a hi-vis orange vest who helped the pedestrian immediately after the collision.
While the pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was initially treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for minor injuries, he has since been readmitted following complications.
The collision took place on Grange Road, Tuffley, at around 4.10pm on Friday 28 June.
A man had just got out of a parked burgundy Ford Eco Boost when he was involved in a collision with a white Mini Cooper.
The driver, a woman in her 70s from Gloucester, was arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a specimen. She has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Officers would now like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident 335 of 28 June: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-matter-involving-driving-vehicles-or-a-road-traffic-incident/
