Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the face during an altercation in Dursley shortly before Christmas.
The incident took place outside the Old Bell Inn on Long Street between 1.30am and 1.50am on Saturday 23 December.
An altercation involving three men took place which resulted in one of them being hit in the face.
He was left with a fractured jaw in two places and needed hospital treatment to fit metal plates as a result.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
