Three people are in police custody after officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress last night (Wednesday).
Police were called to a power station in the Barnwood area of Gloucester at 9.45pm with a report that a group had gained access and were stealing cables.
Officers from the Specialist Operations and Gloucester Local Policing teams attended and contained the area, before conducting searches along with colleagues from the Dogs Unit and National Police Air Service.
Two men and a teenage boy were found in possession of pipes and cables and subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The males, who are from Birmingham and aged 15, 20 and 22, remain in police custody at this time while enquiries continue.
As part of enquiries officers also seized a car which the group are believed to have travelled in.
