Police are appealing for information following the burglary of a petrol station on Stroud Road.
The incident happened in Nailsworth at around 2.35am yesterday morning, Wednesday 31 January.
Three men attempted to break in to the rear of the premises, using tools to attack the back door. When this failed, one of the men went to the front and smashed his way in through the main entrance.
The men then proceeded to take a quantity of cigarettes from behind the kiosk.
Two of the men were dressed in black with their faces hidden by hooded tops and balaclavas. The third man was wearing a dark blue hooded top and also hid his face with a balaclava.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which they believe is relevant from between 2am and 3.45am.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident 32 of 31 January: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/
