Two men have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision near Highleadon, the Forest of Dean earlier today (Friday 23 August).
The incident happened at around 6.30am on the B4215 near to the Texaco petrol station. It involved a blue Ford Focus, a blue Ford Ranger and a white Ford Transit van.
Police, fire and both land and air ambulance attended the scene, and one of the motorists needed to be extricated from their vehicle.
The man, aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by the ambulance service (land).
Another driver, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and he has since been discharged.
The third driver reported no injuries.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage of what took place.
