Police are appealing for a woman who was assaulted by a man in Cheltenham this morning (Wednesday 21 August) to come forward.
At around 8.35am this morning, a CCTV operator in the Constabulary’s Force Control Room spotted that a man had assaulted a woman whilst near to Urban Outfitters on Lower High Street.
The footage showed the man barge into the victim before walking away.
Officers attended however the victim had left the scene and they are now working to identify the woman and find out what happened.
The victim was described as being white and was wearing a pale blue hooded top with light grey joggers. She is believed to have walked along the High Street after the incident.
Investigating officers are asking the victim, or anyone who knows her, to come forward so that her welfare can be checked and an investigation can progress.
