Police are appealing to witnesses following an assault at a pub last night, Friday 30 August.
Emergency services were called to the Ship Inn in Framilode at around 11.30pm to a report of a fight.
It was reported that, following an altercation in the pub, a group of three men have assaulted another man with kicks and punches.
The victim, who lost consciousness during the attack, received a serious injury to his hand as well as minor injuries to his head. He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The three men, who were aged in their 20s and 30s, left the area before police arrived. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak to anybody who may have mobile phone footage which they believe to be relevant.
