Police are appealing for information after a man reported having his Rolex watch stolen during a robbery in Nailsworth at the weekend.
It was reported that the victim's watch, which is valued in its thousands, had been stolen by two women who claimed to be collecting donations on behalf of a charity.
The theft took place in Morrisons car park near to George Veterinary Clinic on George Street at around 12.05pm on Saturday (13 April) and the victim stated that he had been pushed and shoved by the women.
The victim described the women as being in their lates 20s, with eastern European accents, around 5ft 6ins tall and wearing tops, leggings and medical face masks. They left in the direction of Minchinhampton Common following the incident.
