An arrest has been made following a suspected stabbing in Gloucester this afternoon (Thursday 25 April).
Police were called to a property on London Road at 2.35pm after it was reported that a man in his 30s had been stabbed sustaining serious injuries. He has since been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment.
A 40-year-old woman from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. She remains in police custody at this time.
A scene guard is currently in place while enquiries continue.
