Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in the Quedgeley area of Gloucester in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 17 April.
The single-vehicle collision, which involved a blue Ford Focus, happened at around 1am on the A38 eastbound at the Waterwells roundabout with the junction to Telford Way. The car left the carriageway and collided with the roundabout.
A 35-year-old man, who was driving the car, has been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses who have not already spoken to them, or who have dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant, to come forward.
