Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman fled from a man after being assaulted in Stroud during the early hours of this morning (Sunday 21 April).
It was reported that a woman was assaulted within an address before being chased through the town by her attacker.
The victim stated that she ran from an address in Cashes Green to Stroud town centre while wearing a dressing gown.
This took place at around 5am this morning and the victim is now receiving treatment at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for facial injuries.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident however investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the pair this morning.
As well as this officers would like to hear from anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage covering Cashes Green Road, Westwood Road and Cainscross Road.
