A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of rape, assault and criminal damage after officers issued a wanted appeal yesterday evening (Monday 19 September).
Following information from the public, the boy who was the subject of the wanted appeal was arrested this evening (Tuesday 20 September) in Bristol.
His arrest relates to incidents in Alfred Street in Gloucester on Friday (16 September).
The boy remains in custody at this time.
We ask that any images of the boy that have been shared or published are deleted. We also ask that his name is now not used due to his right to anonymity during any court proceedings that may follow.
