The National Rural Crime Network was set up in 2014 to tackle crime in the countryside.

It aims to help the public, police, community safety practitioners and others to share information and develop policy and best practice to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in rural areas.

The NRCN launched a new online resource in April 2015; it will carry out the largest ever survey of crime and anti-social behaviour in rural communities. You can read more about this on the network's website here.
