It's important to know the risks that children might face when they are out alone.  The NSPCC have lots of information which can minimise their risks to these possible subjects

  •          getting lost
  •          danger from traffic
  •          bullying from other children
  •          stranger danger
  •          grooming
  •          running into gangs
  •          exposure to alcohol or drugs

It might seem like a scary list, but with the right guidance they can keep themselves safe.
