Volunteer Police Chaplain

We're seeking expressions of interests for people to become a volunteer police Chaplain.

Working in today’s police service is increasingly challenging. It can be daunting,
dangerous and stressful. To be able to better care for our officers, staff and volunteers, Gloucestershire Constabulary seeks to increase its team of volunteer chaplains to provide independent, confidential support and understanding to anyone of any faith or none.

• Could you volunteer two hours a week?
• Have you got a passion for your local area that extends to your local police?
• Are you friendly and trustworthy?
• Are you able to provide spiritual support?
• Are you willing to work as part of a multi-faith team under the supervision
  and guidance of our lead chaplain, Revd Pat Gifford?
• Would you like to offer a confidential ‘listening’ ear to police officers, staff
  and volunteers?
