“Anti-Semitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of anti-Semitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”
The IHRA definition will help us to understand and recognise contemporary anti-Semitism and take action. We are committed to encouraging victims of anti-Semitism to report it. We will continue to work with our partners to protect and support victims of anti-Semitic abuse and violence and hold perpetrators to account.
As an anti-discriminatory organisation, we address systemic inequalities, disadvantage and discrimination in all its forms.
In recognising the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition, we reaffirm our position that anti-Semitism has no place in our county.
If you have been a victim or witness of a Hate Crime, you can report it online.
