Officers are appealing for witnesses to a knifepoint robbery which took place in the St Marks area of Cheltenham yesterday afternoon, Thursday 19 January.
Police were called to Fairmount Road shortly after 3.35pm with a report that a teenage boy and his friends had been approached by a woman who threatened them with a Stanley blade before stealing one of their bicycles.
The woman left along Gloucester Road in the direction of the junction with Lansdown Road.
Attending officers conducted searches in the area before identifying a woman who matched the description of the offender and was in possession of the stolen bicycle.
A 25-year-old woman from Liverpool was subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident. She remains in police custody at this time.
None of the boys were physically injured but they were shaken by what happened.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the robbery, has information or any CCTV/dashcam footage to get in contact.
