Witness appeal following assaults in Cheltenham

Officers are appealing for witnesses to three assaults that took place in Cheltenham in the early hours of Sunday morning (3 December).

It has been reported that three men assaulted a 30-year-old man inside KFC on Pittville Street at around 3am. He was knocked unconscious and sustained injuries to his face.

Three men aged between 18 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail while enquiries continue.

Officers are also investigating another incident which took place around 1am in Lounge 72 on Cheltenham High Street where two 20-year-old men were punched in the head.

One of the victims was knocked unconscious and sustained a lip injury and the other suffered from concussion and bruising to the face.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish whether the same men were involved in all of the incidents and police are appealing for information from the public.
