Officers in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses after a car was set on fire last week.
Police were called to Ivory Close by the Fire Service at 9.40pm on Monday 5 April following reports that a car had been set on fire outside Tuffley Library.
CCTV enquiries show that offenders set a blue Audi Q3 on fire at around 9.30pm after pouring an accelerant over the parked car and lighting it. They then ran off through Golden Close towards Holmleigh Road before being lost from sight.
The arson resulted in the car being written off due to the bonnet and front half of the car melting.
The offenders are believed to be two youths who were wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or has CCTV footage to please get in contact.
