Two men arrested during community engagement event

Two men were arrested in the Moors estate of Cheltenham yesterday after eagled eyed PCs spotted them whilst on mobile patrol near to a community engagement event.
At around 2.05pm, PCs Pound and Brock were patrolling off Swindon Road when they identified a vehicle and men who they believed to be involved in the supply of controlled drugs.
The vehicle was stopped and the men were detained for searches with officers finding a large quantity of money, mobile phones and drugs.
The men, aged 22 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and taken into police custody.
Subsequent S18 searches at a property linked to the men recovered further drugs.
The men have since been released under investigation to allow for further enquiries to take place.
