Two men have been arrested and a stolen vehicle recovered after police responded to a report of a burglary in Bishops Cleeve.
At 4.10am today (Thursday 19 December) police were told that a vehicle had been seen leaving a business premises following a break-in.
Officers were quickly deployed and following a search a vehicle was located on Pittville lawn. The occupants of the vehicle fled, however they were soon arrested by officers.
The vehicle has since been recovered as it had been stolen yesterday.
Two men from Cheltenham, aged 40 and 41, were arrested in connection with the incident. One man has since been released under investigation and the second will be questioned later today.
Damage was caused to the premises after entry had been forced and it is not yet known if anything was stolen.
Anyone with information about the incident who has not yet spoken to police is asked to call 101 and reference incident 38 of 19 December or submit information to police online.
