Three women are in police custody thanks to a member of the public in Cheltenham who called reporting suspicious activity last night (Monday).
Police were called to Albion Street at 11pm following reports that a member of the public had seen three women forcing entry to a property as part of what they believed to be a burglary.
The caller reported that those inside the property appeared to be throwing items around the premises as well as out of the window.
Officers attended to find that the property had been searched and damaged and located three women, aged 18, 22 and 18 before arresting them on suspicion of burglary.
The women remain in custody pending further enquiries.
