Three burglaries in Cashes Green, Stroud

Three homes were burgled in the Cashes Green area last weekend and police are appealing for CCTV and information. 

On Sunday 23 July the victim awoke to find the rear door of their home on Berkeley Close had been entered and a handbag was stolen. This was later recovered nearby.

In another incident on The Chase it is believed someone entered a property around 5.30am. Items were taken and recovered nearby.

A man had been seen in a nearby garden acting suspiciously and we're keen for anyone who lives in the area and has a doorbell camera to please review your footage between 5am and 6am, in case it captured anything which could assist the investigation.

The man was described as being white, around 5ft 8/9ins, aged in his mid 20s and of a slim build. He was wearing a baseball cap, jeans and had a red bag.

At another premises on The Beagles the homeowner found their patio door open around 7.30am the same day. They later discovered that a purse and handbag had been stolen.
