The Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is taking part in a campaign this summer called 90 Days Strong.
The campaign will see PCSOs re-engaging with communities as we move out of lockdown whilst also supporting community building.
As well as this local officers will be making new contacts, identifying assets and supporting the public to help bring everyone back together after months of isolation.
A number of events will be taking place over the coming months which include a community engagement day at the Wheatpieces Community Centre on Thursday 26 August.
This will see local officers, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Trading standards, Two rivers housing, ASB officers from Tewkesbury Borough Council and the Neighbourhood Watch colleagues embark on the area to find out about issues that residents face and work to resolve them.
Last week officers and the Constabulary's Mounted Unit visited one of Celebrate Church groups Summer Sports events where they engaged with a number of attending children and their families.
Celebrate are a Church which is part of Tewkesbury Abbey specifically for the community of Priors Park and supported by Tewkesbury Borough Council through their grant aid.
Work is also continuing with the partner agencies to organise multi-agency events during the summer holidays.
Another community engagement event is being held this month with the team visiting Cascades car park between 2pm and 7pm on Wednesday 11 August along with Neighbourhood Watch Colleagues.
Acting Inspector Steve Benbow said: "the 90 days strong campaign allows us to work with local residents and their families.
"It is all about having an active presence in our communities to both reassure local residents but also engage with them to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time.
"My team will be out and about over the next few months and look forward to meeting you all, anyone who wishes to find out more details of where to find us can do so by visiting our Twitter account which is https://twitter.com/TewksPolice."
