A teenage girl sustained injuries in a collision in Gloucester earlier today, Wednesday 26 January, and police are appealing for witnesses.
Officers were called to Rudloe Drive in Kingsway at 3.30pm with a report of a collision which involved a car and a pedestrian.
Emergency services attended and the child was taken to hospital. The level of her injuries is currently not known.
Police would like to thank several members of the public who assisted the injured girl.
A man aged in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and has not already spoken to police.
They also want to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
