A man from Stroud has received an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction following his behaviour in and around Cashes Green and Pagan Hill.
Christopher Wills, aged 62, was served with the injunction on Tuesday 10 January, following a hearing at Gloucester Crown Court.
Officers are sharing the details of his injunction in the hopes of local residents informing police if they witness breaches.
The injunction followed reports that Wills had been making threats, invading the local residents' privacy, peering through windows and approaching people he does not know and making alarming comments.
The order imposed by the court forbids Wills, 32 Walter Preston Court, from:
1. Engaging in conduct which causes or is capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to any person living in or visiting Cashes Green and/or Paganhill, Stroud.
2. Using or threatening to use violence against any person living in or visiting Cashes Green and/or Paganhill, Stroud.
The case against Wills was brought by Stroud's Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The injunction on Wills was served yesterday and will remain in place until 10 January 2024.
Stroud's Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Paul Cruise said: "We want to inform the public of Wills' injunction so they can be confident in reporting any breaches to us. His actions have had a huge negative impact and caused a lot of distress in the community, which we will not tolerate.
"We want to reassure the public that Stroud Neighbourhood Policing team is looking out for their community and targeting anyone who acts anti-socially.
"Anyone who sees Wills breaching any of the conditions of the injunction is asked to assist police by contacting us with the details of the breach so that it can be dealt with robustly."
