Stroud man charged with six offences

A man has been charged with six offences in Stroud, including burglary, and has been remanded in custody.

Stephen King, aged 34 and of Stroud, has been charged with:

• Three counts of fraud by using a stolen bank card in February 2022.
• Taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent in January 2022.
• Theft from a motor vehicle where two bank cards were stolen from a car in February 2022.
• Burglary, where a cash and items were stolen from an office in February 2022.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court later today, Tuesday 22 March.

The charges relate to offences that all took place in Stroud.
