Officers are appealing for witnesses after several thousand pounds in cash was stolen during a burglary at a garden centre in Nailsworth.
Police were called with a report that an unknown man had broken into Blue Diamond Garden Centre on Avening Road before stealing around £10,000 from the safe and leaving in a vehicle.
The burglary is believed to have taken place at some point between 5pm on Sunday 11 and 8am on Monday 12 June.
The offender was described as being a white man of a medium build with short hair. He was wearing a black hooded top with the word “black” written on the middle in white writing.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or who was travelling in the area and has dashcam footage to make contact.
