Road closures are in place following a serious collision on the A429 Fosse Way this afternoon, Friday 10 March.
Police were called at 4.15pm with a report of a collision involving two cars near Longborough.
Closures have been put into place on the A429 between Longborough and Donnington as well as between the A429 and A44 intersection.
The drivers of both cars have been taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for their injuries to be assessed.
The roads are expected to remain closed for a number of hours with motorists asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to get in contact.
