Police are at an address in Kingsholm Road, Kingsholm in Gloucester following the death of a man in his 30s.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 8.05pm on Thursday 15 October and Gloucestershire Constabulary is in the early stages of an investigation.
At this time the death is being treated as suspicious. His next of kin and the coroner has been informed.
