Police charge man following attack in Tuffley last week

Officers have charged a man in connection with an assault in Tuffley, Gloucester last Thursday (24 June) where a man suffered serious injuries.
Jordan Conie, 28 and of no fixed abode, has been charged with wounding with intent, criminal damage to property, assault causing actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He has been remanded to appear at Gloucester Crown Court today, Thursday 1 July.
A 37 year-old man from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and released on police bail to return to a police station on Friday 23 July.
The charge relates to a report that two men had been attacked by three other men with weapons, including a knife, on Tuffley Lane.
One man in his fifties suffered serious injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by the ambulance service where he received treatment.
The other man, in his thirties, received minor wounds which were treated at the scene.
