Police are appealing for witnesses to a suspected arson in Cheltenham during the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 15 November.
Emergency Services were contacted shortly before 12.40am with a report that a car had been set on fire on St. Phillip's Street.
It was reported that unknown people had been heard in the area before a resident found the vehicle alight with the rear passenger door open.
The incident is currently being treated as an arson and investigating officers are asking anyone who was in the area and witnessed suspicious activity or has information to please get in contact.
Officers would also like to speak to a man seen in the area at the time of the fire as he may have information which will assist the investigation.
He was wearing a blue t-shirt with long white sleeves and black trousers and was seen heading in the direction of Great Norwood Street.
