Police are appealing for witnesses of a serious two vehicle collision in Churchdown yesterday (Monday 30 January).
At 4.05pm police received a report from the ambulance service of a collision near to Gloucester North Community Fire Station on Cheltenham Road East.
It was reported that an orange Volkswagen Transporter van had collided with a white LML Star scooter.
The driver of the scooter, a man in his 60s, was taken to Southmead Hospital with serious injuries where he remains today (Tuesday 31 January).
No one else was seriously injured and the road reopened shortly before 5.30pm.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam/CCTV footage and has not yet spoken to police to get in touch.
