Police are appealing for information after two reports of men in vans approaching school girls in Cirencester.
At around 7.25am on Wednesday (9 December), a girl was approached by a grey Ford Transit van on Sheep Street, Cirencester. The driver, a white man, wound down his window to speak to the girl. As she began to run he got out the car and smashed a brown bottle.
The second incident occurred on Thursday (10 December) a school girl was approached by a white man in a van on Love Lane, Cirencester, who offered her a lift, she declined and he drove off.
The local schools are aware of the incident and local officers, including School Beat officers will be patrolling the area.
Police are asking anyone to who is victim to or witnesses similar incidents to report it to police.
Anyone who saw the man or witnessed the incidents should call 101, quoting incident 480 of 9 December or 231 of 10th December.
