Officers are appealing for witnesses to two ram-raids which took place in Cheltenham during the early hours of this morning (Monday 25 October).
Police were contacted with a report that unknown offenders had forced entry to a shop on Gotherington Lane, Bishops Cleeve at around 2am this morning however it is believed nothing was stolen.
The offenders are believed to have entered the premises by ramming a car into the shop. Four people were seen leaving the scene in an Audi.
A stolen Astra was also found abandoned in a nearby road which was suspected to have been used by the offenders. Forensic examinations will now take place at the scene.
Shortly before 4am police received a report that offenders had rammed a car into the café at Cheltenham Spa train station. It is not known at this stage if anything was stolen.
Investigating officers are asking anyone witnessed the incidents or have any information, or CCTV footage and have not yet spoken to police, to contact officers.
