Police are appealing for witnesses after an nine-year-old girl was bitten by two dogs in Kingsway last month.
Police received a report that a young girl had been bitten on the stomach by two greyhound/whippet type dogs on the footpath between Kinloss Drive and Bodiam Avenue sometime between 4.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday 12 July.
The girl suffered four puncture wounds and was taken to hospital where she was treated with antibiotics.
A lone man was walking the two brindle coloured greyhounds, he was described as being white, around 5ft 11in to 6ft tall, in his late 20s to early 30s, with brown hair and wearing a black jacket.
Police would like to speak to this man in connection with the incident and to anyone who may have any information or witnessed the incident.
