Police in Dursley are appealing for witnesses and information after a Ukrainian flag at a church was defaced last month.
Sometime between 7pm on Thursday 26 May and 7am on Friday 27 May at St Giles C of E Church, The Green, in Uley, Dursley, a Ukrainian flag was flying on a pole in the church yard. Unknown offenders have taken it down and written racist wording over it in black marker pen.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time, or who may CCTV of the area is asked to get in touch.
