Police are appealing for witnesses as a man in Cheltenham suffered serious stab wounds yesterday evening (Sunday 6 February).
One man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
At shortly before 8pm police were called with a report that a man had sustained suspected stab wounds.
He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by the ambulance service and is being treated for his injuries which are serious.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody today, (Monday 7 February).
A police investigation is ongoing and scene guards remain in place on Broad Oak Way.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 369 of 6 February. You can also provide information anonymously by calling independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
